Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement across various platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Create engaging and compelling content, including posts, interviews, blog entries, and multimedia assets, aligned with FEM-START’s mission and values.
- Monitor social media channels, track performance metrics, and generate insights to optimize content strategy and drive audience growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas, campaigns, and initiatives to promote FEM-START’s programs, events, and initiatives.
- To stay informed and innovative, research industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices in social media and content marketing.
- Respond promptly and professionally to followers’ and stakeholders’ inquiries, comments, and messages to support community management efforts.
- Create newsletters with Mailchimp to keep our readers and members up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a journalism, communications, marketing, or related field at an accredited university or college.
- Strong English writing skills with the ability to create compelling and concise content for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best content creation and engagement practices.
- Proficiency in multimedia tools and software for graphic design, video editing, and/or photography is a plus.
- A creative thinker passionate about storytelling and promoting social causes or initiatives.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative environment.
